The heels are a bit too much and I would tell him there is no way. Over time they can do damage to you and they are very uncomfortable to wear all the time. There are many women who are uncomfortable in sleeveless tops, and you should not be forced to wear anything that makes you feel self conscious. My God, I can't forgive my self for not taking the chances when I had the chances. Now I'm afraid I won't have that chances again. I went on a second date with a girl I really like in I didn't kiss her. I mean I believe I had the chances because it was at the movie theater with her in there wasn't almost no body there to notice us kissing. Her body language, and the way she was acting toward me was I believe the hint of interest. I think I should kissed her, but I didn't wanted to look as desperate either. I need to lose a little weight by then since I'm going on vacation. I play a strenuous sport once a week and need carbs. An example of what I've been eating for a week is: breakfast: 1 serving of cheerios w/ milk and dannon fruit on the bottom yogurt, lunch: turkey sandwich on wheat and caesar salad, snack: 1 serving of cheerios, dinner: half cup of tortellini (orange, green, and white colored) and salad with peppercorn dressing. This is an example of what I'm trying to eat to lose the weight. I walk about 4-6 times a week and hockey game once a week. I want to know if this is good enough to at least tone up and go down a size by June. Thank you.

I am 5"8 and within a healthy weight range. I am NOT skinny but I am definately not fat. I have a body kinda like Katherine Heigl from Grey's Anatomy. Once I lost 10 kilos and my periods stopped. Anyway I am now back to my normal weight and I am always hungry. I can sooooo much food in one sitting before I feel full. I try to eat high fibre, wholegrain foods when this happens to make sure I'm satisfying HUNGER not APPETITE. I was hungry before and it took 5 slices of wholegrain bread, a whole sweet potato, a tin of corn, a tub of yoghurt and 2 cups of soup before I was full. During the day I ate 4 slices of wholegrain bread, a tin of tuna, an apple, a kiwifruit, a slice of light cheese and a tub of yoghurt. Is that normal?

Does my ex really hate me?

My ex broke up with me about a month ago. We were pretty serious and dated each other for almost a year and were engaged.. lived together as well. As with any breakup it has been very hard and I still care for him very much. I feel there is bad air between us right now and I feel like he is angry at me. I don't want to think that he never wants to talk to me again.. maybe he just needs time to get over things? The main reasons we broke up(or he broke up with me) was because he felt like I hadn't been trying and he felt he gave me many chances and also because I was still on my meds for anxiety which he had been trying to help me get off.. It sounds ridiculous that he would want me to get off my meds if I feel they are working but from the beginning of our relationship he really felt like they held me back and I wasn't able to really be myself on them. Also there was trust issues on his part because of something that I did when we started living together. We rushed into the whole relationship and it was almost as if we were married. He hasn't called me in a month and I haven't called him. I only wrote him one letter and that was about 3 weeks ago and I just agreed with the breakup and also told him I wanted him to be happy and that I still cared for him. He did keep that letter and put it in the binder along with all the other letters that he stores of mine. Why would he do that? Also he did delete me from his myspace which really hurt because I didn't know what I did wrong. It isn't like I was calling him nonstop or driving him crazy. I feel he probably wants to be single and that's obvious because on his profile he has single now and he deleted our pictures and even my comments I gave him. The only thing he still has of me on his myspace is the picture comments I gave him. Is he doing this because all these things remind him of me? I know it may be because he doesn't want other girls to see these things but that would be pretty stupid. I mean, it does say he is single on his profile.. and also he deleted this blog that he had written about me.. it took him about 2 weeks to do it after he had deleted me from his myspace. Why would he delete a blog he wrote about me? I mean isn't this just childish.. I know he probably wants to forget about me but I wasn't THAT bad of a girlfriend. Why do I smell cigarettes when I don't smoke?

I asked this before and got no real answers, so I will ask one more time, I smell cigarettes mostly in my living-room next to me as if someone is sitting there smoking watching me...The smell It seems to fallow me most places I go even when I get in my car and sometimes in my bedroom just before I retire for the evening...And just recently I seen a hand print on the mirror in the kitchen it was a rather large one as I am not very big I am only 5"3 and small framed, I live alone on 15 acres of private land and have for many years now. I seldom go out into town and if I do it is to get supplies or to shop with friends, but never really go into establishments where smoking is allowed besides.. I have Asthma so smoking is diffidently out for me and being around cigarettes is no option...But What is really confusing to me even more so is the hand-print where did it come from? when I noticed it was late last evening before this morning, I walked into the serving area to refresh-in my gl of lemon-water and happened to look Beyond the breakfast nook and seen the hand-print where it had not been there 20 minutes before I got up to get a chilled gl of lemon-water. One more thing I just up-till 4 days ago started to smell the cigarettes...So if any one has some real answers I would love to hear from you.

At a loss to see why most Americans are against the abolishment of guns? Please explain?

asking this question in connection with columbine. personally, I'm shocked to find out that most Americans are in favour of guns. not only for self-defense, but because it's more of a right to freedom (like it is stated in the 2nd amendment or sth) haven't guns been responsible for many a crime? people (like the guy in Arizona recently) can just what? walk in, buy a gun, and venture out on a shooting spree? yes, one could argue that it's psychology, lack of parental love, social outcast, disappointment with the government, etc. but people are discontent everywhere. that doesn't give them a right to murder. to me the main problem is the ease of obtaining guns in American society. Some argue that crimes would continue anyway if guns are abolished, but I disagree. it would certainly diminish such grisly incidents such as school shootings. I mean, even if they are psychos and come to school with a knife, it would be harder for them to kill so many people, with a gun, it's just so easy (esp. if you choose a good vantage point). I sometimes think that another reason is that guns bring in a lot of revenue for some, that is why people are reluctant to to see the industry abolished. I'm talking about the complete abolishment of guns from society. (the only exception could be to have guns at home, if one feels threatened) and the most severe crackdown on obtaining guns (by criminals, drug cartels, so on. couldn't federal agents and agents on a state level handle that?) as you can probably guess, I'm not from the states (but I've always wanted to live there). but now I've decided that I wouldn't want to live in a gun society. I would like opinions and an ysis of why guns are so important and why people are so blind to see it's one the main problems. at a loss to see how people can argue that the right to carry arms is a freedom stipulated by the Constitution. don't things become outdated. If the Founding Fathers were alive and if they saw what guns were doing to society, do you really think they'd want guns in society? serious, rational and civilized answers please.

2 types of people that diet. 1) Person who does not cheat. 2) Person who does. I was a person who cheated a lot. So in the state of mind that I was going to cheat I had to figure out a way to cheat but still loose the weight. So I exersized. Outside not in a gym. Run a few steps, then walk. Run a few, then walk. If you run just a little bit it gets your heart rate up, so while your walking you are actually burning fat. The problem with only walking is that your heart rate does not reach the fat burning rate until the end of most walks (45 minutes). But if you just run fifteen to twenty steps then walk, you're actually burning fat the entire time you walk. When you catch your breath, run again a few steps, and walk. As long as you do this you can still eat almost anything and loose weight. If you want to go the extra mile then eat oatmeal every morning. It's awesome for you and very, very filling. Eat a descent sized lunch, and small dinner. If you are like me and are hungry right before bed, eat another bowl of oatmeal. Very best of luck to you . I hope you reach your goal.

Dogs with cancer, do you have a dog with cancer?

I have had three dogs that have had cancer, two were related, a Aunt and her nephew. One had liver cancer and the other two had/have mammary cancer. I don't know if it's a problem with a bloodline or something on/in the ground or how my dogs are getting this disease but if you have had any experience with this let me know. Thank you :-)

Individuals who have had chemotherapy or blood transfusions: allergies?

I was diagnosed in 1997 with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and have had to endure chemo twice and yes I have suffered some of these same problems besides the chemo causing my hair to fall out it also caused the loss of my teeth. I also have developed allergic reactions to several medications that never used to bother me such as codeine and its derivatives such as oxycodone and hydrocodone and several other pain killers which is bad because I am unfortunately in constant severe pain. I also am in remission at this time but unfortunately there is no cure unless I can find a bone marrow donor match and then there is no guarantee. I hope you continue to be cancer free and live a long and prosperous life. Oh, Happy New Year

I'm a 14 year old freshman. Recently moved to a new school but fortunately, I found a new best friend within the first week, which was ironic as I've always been an outcast because of my hyperactivity and lack of self control. To my surprise she was totally understanding and we had a lot in common but today something CRAZY happened. In the time I've known her, she's told me her family used to abuse drugs and hurt her, but I talked to her on the phone and I heard her dad in the background. He sounded like a crazy redneck. He was yelling and swearing at her and her sister over a chore she didn't do. That was only the beginning though, after that, she told me she swears she remembers living a previous life in a feudal world free of war, and her and her sister were princesses. And that she was engaged to InuYasha (a character from an anime series). At this point I thought she was crazy. I tried to play along and I said "what if Inuyasha died in that world and was reincarnated into this one, too"? I continued to play along just because I felt sorry for her. She came to the conclusion that I was InuYahsa's reincarnation and she had to have me. But then I said "I really don't know" After I said that she figured I was probably playing along and jinxing her. I told her that even if I was, I still like her as a person. To be honest, I try to stay open minded and for all I know there could be a feudal world out there. Anyway, I broke her heart and now I think she might reject me as a friend. I fell like **** now. i think a conure fits these pretty well. more of a green cheek conure then a sun conure though. they can get pretty loud unless you train them not to be. they will usually stay close with one person. and they are very playful. i have a yellow sided green cheek conure and he is very playful. he likes to be with me a lot but is shy with others so i think that you'd be very interested in a conure. good luck =]

Yes run as much as you can stand. Distance and sprint workouts. For coordination buy a little kid ball. Size 3 maybe. The small ball will help with ball control. Dribble and juggle it whenever you can.

I need help repairing my 1987 Pontiac Sunbird...?

Ok so everything was fine with it one day. The next day I went to pick my brother up from school and when I went to start it started but kinda sputtered for a few moments and then cut off. I tried again and each time it does the same time. At first I thought I was out of gas but even after filling the tank its still doing it. I ave replaced the fuel pump, fuel injector, oil pressure switch, modules, and sensors. It has less then 70,000 miles. Can anybody help, I have been without a car for 3 weeks and its hard.

I have a problem with black textured hair. It's full on top and weak at back. Can it grow all around? Thanks.

My black-textured hair has always grown in layers. For years I've never had my hair grow past my neck. Even after having gotten "Jeri curls" it still won't grow. I've used so-called "miracle gro" product after "miracle gro" product and taken hair vitamins but still to no avail! I shampoo my hair at least twice a week, and sleep with a satin bonnet-like cap that I purchase from beauty supply stores nightly to prevent breakage, but still my hair grows full on the top, and weak at back. The lady that does my hair, says that I should refrain from getting a curl for a while, and let my hair grow out in a "natural" to give my hair a rest from all the chemicals. I last had my hair done in November of 2006, and still I haven't noticed any significant growth. I even have a little "bald spot" at the top of my scalp in back that really is bothering me! She said that I may be in the early stages of "male pattern baldness" which I don't agree with because I see hair growing in that area.

I'll leave it to your imagination what "bowel troubles" means, but basically I was doing my long distance run for the week (goal 11 miles). In the past when I run I have drank no water or gatorade during my runs. This was the first time I was incorporating liquid DURING a run. My 4-year-old has been displaying behavior problems. Is this normal? ?

I have a 5 year old son and a 3 year old son. My oldest kind of displayed the same kind of trouble. He wouldn't stay at grandma's cause i wasn't there and so on. I really think that he was asking for attention. She is trying to "play parent" with her younger sibling trying to do the things to him that you would do with her. Like you said hold him, take away his toys (like if you would take them off her to eat dinner) putting him in the chair might be like she is putting him into timeout. I don't think she is intentionally trying to hurt him or his feelings. When this started happening to my son, I talked to my boss and I took some time off for 1 on 1 time with my son. I talked to him alot, trust me she'll understand when you let her talk and you listen. Then I cut my work hours back and let my husband work more. I happen to work for an all girl religious school and I see strong confident young women every day. Their role models are other women who are educated and articulate and push and teach them to be the same. All the role models that most other young women have are not strong confident women they are wimpy little pop princess' who live by, oh my I can't live without a man in my life so I have to act like an idiot and dress like a sl** to attract them all..... Approximately 2 months ago, I broke up with my boyfriend of almost 2 years. I am 15, he is 16. I broke up with him because he was very possessive and controlling. Lug nut is stuck on stud (2003 Honda Accord)?

Sounds like he may have ruined it for ya. Really the only to get that lug off now is break the stud. You can do this with a long handled breaker bar, just loosen it until it stops, and stand on the bar. It will break. You should be able to drive out the old stud with hammer and punch, and sneak the new on in from behind the hub. You will have to remove the caliper and rotor to do this. Slip the new stud in from behind, tap it in as far as you can, and put a stack of washers over the stud. Put the new lug nut on the stud, making sure that at least 4-5 threads are engaged, and use the tire wrench to tighten it down, drawing the stud into place. Zip it back off, and you're ready to throw the rest back together and get back on the road.

My rescued jack russell still looks sadly with hope in the direction of a little girl's voice because that was who was kind to him in his former home. I've had him since he was 3 and he's 11 now. Why is there a major water leak on the penger side footwell of my Vokswagen Pat 1.8 1999 car? ?

My Volkswagen Pat 1.8 1999 car has had water leaking into the penger side foot well only and this is particularly bad when it has been raining. The water is clear and does not have any obvious smell, although obviously the car interior starts smelling musty due to the damp. It is quite a copious amount of water, quite literally a puddle! There seems to be more water at the back than at the front (though this could be because the rear foot well is lower than the front one, but is also wet nevertheless) and only on the penger side. As far as I can see, all window and door seals appear intact. I am now having issues with the central locking/electric windows/wing mirrors, interior lighting etc, most likely because of the moisture and the windows are constantly misted up horrendously. I don't think it is anything to do with the radiator/heating system as there is no obvious coolant leakage/drainage. I just need to some advice as to what could be leaking, how I can stop it right now and how to prevent it happening in the future. I would appreciate any help with this!! Thank you in advance.

Reading auras during meditation?

I'm working on a story, which includes a man who has the ability while meditating to see the auras of other people. Like astral projection I suppose except that he only sees colors of people. I was shown America. It was an evolution, sped up so fast that I couldn't even keep up with what I was being shown. It was all done on a map. Help with Repayment on a Student Loan?

I have a student loan in TN that is on reduced payment forbearance and I pay $20.00 per month right now. This is the maximum that I will be able to pay due to other bills. My regular payment is suppose to be around $90.00 per month. With this rate, I will never get this loan paid off, and all the $20.00 goes to is a little bit of interest. Why won't my lenders modify my mortgage unless I start to fall late and go into foreclosure?

Found dog... was she dumped?

A friend gave us a beautiful doxie and said that the people she got her from said they saw her being dumped from a car. The doxie is very well groomed and well mannered, even housebroke. You can tell she was definitely spoiled. However, her are slightly swollen and there is milk... not a lot at this point. Also, she is loaded with fleas. I'm having trouble believing someone would spend the money to have her groom and nails clipped neatly, spoil her, then dump her. There are no alerts in the area for a lost doxie. Any thoughts?

When i power it on, it acts normal as if it is going to boot up, but then it goes to an all black screen with a little white cursor. Then these options appear that will allow me to boot; internal HDD, cd/dvd/cd-rw drive, onboard NIC, BIOS setup, & Diagnostics. If i run a diagnostic the "start DST short status test" says 'failed". what is wrong with my laptop and how do it get it back to working condition?

I just visited the website Americas most wanted and clicked on Americas most wanted criminals and I scrolled down three pages and the majority of the caucasian most wanted were child rapists. The majority of crimes committed by Lantinos and African Americans were murder. There were more caucasian offenders than the minorities adding the child along with the murders, bank robbings, s, kidnappings, and this is JUST the most wanted list. Daughter will not #2 on the potty?

My daughter will #1 on the potty but when I can tell she has to potty she will hold it in & constipate herself rather than just go on the potty. We try praising her. She went #2 a couple of times but for some reason got scared to. I feel like an aweful mom. I don't know what to do. Tried introducing more fruits & veggies but she will not eat veggies. So I give her the healthy harvest fruit/veggie drink but that doesn't help. She used to LOVE mashed potatoes & whole potatos now she acts like they are a monster to her. She is 2 yrs & 6 months old. I tried pureed veggies but she doesn't like that either. She eats fruits but not veggies. I am at the end of the rope with this potty thing. I know it isn't supposed to be instant but I have no idea how to get her to #2. She did have the dora playhouse. We set it up & she did #2 in the potty.....then that became outside the potty & eventually not at all. Tried mega encouragment, stickers, a progress chart. I feel like a failure. I don't know what else to do. I have to give her pedi-lax so she can go sometimes. Since I've been giving her more fruits she doesn't have a hard time with constipation. But when I sit her on the potty to #2 she will hold it in & constipate herself......

On my pc I have Adobe photoshop , Picasa2 and Seriff Photo manager for my photos to print from. I have been shown Paintshop Pro which I think is superb (I could be wrong though)my idea is to delete all of the others and just use Paintshop Pro. Why do people act differently when at a hotel....or do they?

I work in a luxury hotel and I think I'm no longer cut out for this business. So sick and tired of people treating me like I'm not worthy or because I'm behind the front desk that I'm not a human being. I've had guests (if you can call them that) yell at me because our in-house sedan service is too expensive (like I make the rates)...telling me I was going to "suffer and pay the price".....and today, I actually had a guest yell at me because she asked for a private area (besides her room) so she can pump milk and I suggested our HUGE lobby bathroom that has a vanity nook or large handicap stall....she was appauled and asked to speak to a manager! I don't know what makes people think they can talk to total strangers (strangers that are actually trying to HELP them) this way! There should be GED prep. programs. But honestly, most of the grade school stuff isn't that important...it's just the basics but you can easily relearn it. I'd reccomend getting back into public school and trying that again and going through with it. As for the post-secondary (to become a therapist), you'll need to do a lot of work! Make sure you are up for it, you'll want to keep your grades high (time + dedication + hard work) as well as do volunteer and community services so you can win bursaries and scholarships (awards that will help pay for your schooling after high school)

So I went to this upscale French restaurant a while back. The food, atmosphere, and service was great. Our waiter chatted with us for a bit, Ben, if I remember his name. The bill came to $240, I only had 100s, so I left $300, and I guess I could've left it all as a tip, but for some reason, I asked for $10 back. We got a cold shoulder from the waiter from that point on. In hindsight, I should've just left $60 as a tip, but it seemed like a large tip, was I being that rude?
