Why is it rare in India to find composting pits?

Well they have something better, gobar gas, Actually there are millions already built and millions on the way. Similiar and actually we get hung up on compost sometime, it's great I do it my self, but what do you think all that stuff your talking about tilled into the garden does, I'll tell you the same thing. Indian's are not dumb whether they are Native American or Native Indians.:)
