Should I do the friends with benefits thing?

I am 22 almost 23 and a virgin which I am proud of but I think about all the time and I get well I think you know. I need had any kind of before and I want to do the friends with benefits thing but I'm not sure because I know there will be repercussions if I do it. This is not how I want to lose my virginity I would much prefer to lose it will someone I love but I am having a hard time finding a guy that I am compatible with. I am talking to a guy who is my age and also a virgin and we agreed on some things. We both want to keep this private and discreet because I'm afraid what my friends and family might think.
