Its a law ? I was in Indiana and got stoped by police?

I and a friend was in a truck stop parked and asleep near a small town in Indiana. We watched a football game earlier and became tiered driveing back home. A policeman taps on my window and tells me to get out. I did. He tells my friend and I to stand over by the trunk and starts surch my car without my permision. He finds nothing. He made us blow on an unclean breathalizer. Me first and then my friend with even whiping it. Then he cuffs us and takes us to Jail. Later I find out the charge was Public intoxication. I spent the night in jail. I was scared and humiliated. Please someone what should be done?
