How can I propose to my boyfriend without emasculating him?

It sounds like he would really be ok with you proposing to him, so I would suggest something romantic. If he is a very public person, you can always go somewhere to do it.. like a public beach, or the center of an amusement park. Otherwise, if he kind of likes those things to be private, do it like you think he would propose to you.. best of luck!
