Carburetor pilot screw setting for '82 yamaha xj550?

I have the pilot (air) screws out 1 3/4 turns from fully seated. These screws are originally sealed by the factory and no manual has the factory setting as they are not supposed to be adjusted. Well, the caps over mine were popped off and the screws were all out of whack. #1 carb was out 2 turns, #2 was out 1 1/2 turns, #3 was 3 turns and #4 was 2 1/4. Someone just had no clue. Anyway... please only answer this if you truly know the factory setting or if you have some tips on how I can adjust my air screw the right way so I am not too lean or too rich. Thanks
